Propagating Self-Love

A newsletter for the weary, the neurodivergent, the recovering, and the fragile sprouts.

What is this space?

If you’ve ever felt like self-care was just another chore on your to-do list, or that loving yourself feels like a mountain you aren’t equipped to climb, you’re in the right place.

A process, not a destination.

We don’t need more commands to “be better.” We need gentle permission (and maybe a little encouragement) to grow at whatever pace works for us.

Why “Propagating”?

In gardening, to propagate is to take a small cutting (a leaf, a stem, a fragment, a scrap) and give it the environment it needs to grow roots. It’s a bit scientific, a bit magical, and often verrrrry slow.

That is how we handle self-love here. We aren’t trying to bloom overnight. We are:

  • Taking small cuttings of kindness and curiosity.

  • Creating a suitable environment (mental health tools, boundaries, and community).

  • Waiting for roots to grow and understanding that some cuttings take, and some don’t. And that’s okay.
